A field day on cultivation of fodder crop and livestock feeding was organized on 22.3.2015 at Harsolov village, Nagaur by Division of Livestock production system and range management under NRAA project “Pilot Study on Livestock Intervention for Livelihood improvement in Nagaur District of Rajasthan”. About 300 farmers and farm women participated in the programme. Dr. N.V. Patil, Director NRCC Camel Bikaner was the chief guest of the function and he emphasised on the importance of indigenous breed of livestock and value addition of livestock product. Dr. A.K. Mishra, Head, Division of Livestock Production System & Range Management highlighted the importance of the farming system and feeding technique for higher income generation. Dr. M. Patidar PI of the project elaborated the project activities and coordinated the programme. Dr. P.R. Meghwal, Dr. A.K. Patel and Dr. A.C. Mathur were also present. Suresh Kumar, Sarpanch Harsolav and Raminiwas, Sarpanch Bhatiyon ki Dhani encouraged the farmers to adopt technologies of ICAR Institute for better income and livelihood improvement.
